Medinize

Medinize is a cloud-based billing and inventory management solution designed for hospitals. It integrates seamlessly with existing hospital management systems, extending back-office functionality to frontline staff. This leads to increased efficiency and cost savings.

Medinize boasts real-time billing, extensive reporting, and robust inventory management. Its modular design allows hospitals to customise the system to their specific needs, with features like ward billing, theater billing, and stock management. We also developed web apps for various hospital devices to streamline workflows.

The system is built on a .NET Core backend and an Angular frontend, leveraging Azure and other industry-standard technologies. We implemented CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient development and deployment.

Medinize's event-driven architecture, using message buses, handles the high data volumes typical in hospital environments. Offline capabilities and integration with SAP systems further enhance its functionality.

One of the key challenges was tailoring reports to provide valuable insights for various users, from employees to executives. We also focused on optimising the system for real-time performance and ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices.
